Long-range Plan

Both individuals and corporations have been major contributors to NJCCSF.  Our long-range plan is to increase our public awareness of our missions and to broaden the number of recipients who are qualified for our awards, financial assistance and sponsorship.

Strategic planning

Our strategic plan includes addressing critical issues confronting the organization and setting goals and objectives that are relevant, specific, measurable and attainable.  We will devise strategies for attaining our goals and objectives and designate individuals to implement the strategies for specific tasks to be completed by certain dates.  Monitoring progress versus plan will occur on a regular basis.

NJCCSF plans to concentrate more on reaching out to the public.  Following are the goals and objectives of NJCCSF:

     ·        Expand funding source

·        Expand disbursement area

·        To make NJCCSF members more accessible to all

·        Increase public awareness about NJCCSF

·        Simplify the application process

Expand funding source

We will continue to solicit corporate contributions and individual donations through direct mailing and fundraising events.  Our annual charity ball will remain a crucial source of financial contribution to NJCCSF.  We also hope to encourage more donations through matching funds and United Way. 

Expand fund disbursement

We will target qualified recipients and encourage them to apply for grants and sponsorships.  NJCCSF wants to sponsor more literary awards and other educational activities such as equipment for cultural classes and library expansions.  We will work towards increasing awareness about the availability of the SAT II scholarship.

 To make NJCCSF board members more accessible to all

All of NJCCSF board members can be reached through e-mail or telephone.  We plan to redesign our Web site, making it more user-friendly and informational.  Each of the board members will be responsible for a region of New Jersey and will be the main contact for that region.   We hope to create a more personal relationship with the community. 

Increase public awareness about NJCCSF

NJCCSF will actively promote its purpose, function and existence to potential contributors and recipients.  We want to ensure that the Foundation becomes a prominent organization in the Chinese community. 

Simplify the application process

Application forms will be designed to make it easier for applicants and to speed up the application review process.
