of Directors
Foundation is governed by the Board of
Directors, which consists of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary,
Treasurer, Public Relation and Communication, and four Board Members. In addition, four executive committee members of Overseas Hong Kong
Association are de-factor board members of NJCCSF.
Role of the Board of Directors
- Establish and clarify the Foundation's mission
- Ensure effective long-range planning in development and fundraising
- personal contribution of service and/or financial resources
- create a public image which attracts contributions
- influence others to contribute
- Ensure the availability of adequate financial resources
- Select and support the Board of Advisors
- Set criteria and monitor the effectiveness of the fund disbursement
- Financial oversight
- approval of annual budget
- assuring an annual audit
- management of investments
- Be an advocate for the NJCCSF in the community
Board members devote their time and resources on a
voluntary basis and serve a two-year term.
