Dongdong Chen is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Chinese Program at the Department of Asian Studies in Seton Hall University, NJ. She receives her Ph.D. in Linguistics from McGill University, Canada. Trained as linguist, she has been keen on issues related to language teaching and learning. In order to introduce the Chinese language to as many American students as possible, Dongdong has been working enthusiastically and productively to develop various exciting extracurricular programs for students to learn, to appreciate, and to experience Chinese cultures. Skillful at computer technology, Dongdong created a multimedia web-based Chinese-learning program, which has been very beneficial to, and enjoyed by her students. Dongdong is committed to contributing her time and expertise to the development of NJCCSF.
